Want to get a head start on your homework? Have a late bus? After school help runs in the Library on Wednesdays and Thursdays after school, from 3pm-5pm. Stay for as little or as long as you would like! Bring your homework to the library, where you can complete your work under teacher supervision and ask for help if you need it. Merit points are available for regular attendees!

Anywhere, Anytime Access
The library website and catalogue are available 24/7 from anywhere with an internet connection. They host a variety of digital resources to support teaching, learning and recreational reading, as well as study and research tips and referencing advice. Students can search our library catalogue online to find books, connect to reference databases, borrow eBooks and audiobooks, and more!

Online Resources and Databases – Access It and Wheelers
Our online catalogue through “Access It’ allows students to search for audio, e-books and of course traditional books our library contains. The new system also allows students to research from home using the ‘One’ search facility. Wheelers is our online eBook and Audiobooks site, Available to loan for up to 2 weeks.
Sign in using your Compass code (eg: STA0001) and the Password is Library10! Loans are for 2 weeks
Fiction Books
Our library have an extensive print and digital collection comprising of classic and contemporary novels, quick reads, picture books and graphic novels suitable for a range of reading levels and interests.
Non-fiction and Reference Books
A comprehensive range of non-fiction books and ebooks. Our reference books are only for use in the library and consist of various encyclopaedias, maps, dictionaries and thesauri covering all subjects.
Film and Video – ClickView Online
We subscribe to ClickView Online, a digital video streaming service, to support the curriculum. This allows teachers and students 24/7 access to educational content that has been custom made for schools and mapped to the Australian Curriculum as well as selected programs which have appeared on TV. We also have an extensive collection of free TV programs, movies, documentaries and animations in DVD format.
Multimedia
Our library supplies the school with a wide variety of multimedia technology and professional support. We stock digital video and still cameras, tripods, microphones and much more..
Newspapers and Magazines
Learning space
Students can use the traditional classroom set up with tables and chairs or move towards the more collaborative learning opportunities. The spaces are flexible in design allowing the staff and students to adapt to the differing learning needs. Students can learn independently or together in groups with dedicated days for both private study and relaxation.
IT Support
Our Library is a very popular and welcoming place for students in all year levels and access to the IT help desk is now an integral part of the space. Whether at home or in school, the library maintains a presence where students and staff are always welcome.
