Sailing Program

The Dromana College Sailing Program is designed to develop student’s skills in the sport of sailing with a real focus on teamwork and student leadership. Students will be involved in both an ‘on and off’ water coaching program run by an accredited Yachting Victoria Coach. The students will race as part of a team in pacer dinghies. They will compete at various regattas held during the 2021/2022 sailing season.

Previous Experience: The program involves a format of racing that has its own unique set of tactics, so it is important that students enrolling in this program have either previous fleet racing experience or participated in the Dromana College’s Sailing Intensive Program held during activities week the previous year.

Cost: $150.00 for students enrolling in the 2021/2022 season
