Principal Scholarships applications will close on the 28th of August.

Applicants will be notified of interview details via email before the 12th of October.


Dromana College is committed to recognising and rewarding all fields of endeavour. In 2027, the College is offering Academic and Curriculum Enhancement Scholarships to support students who are enrolled in the College for Year 7 2027.

CONDITIONS

Only students who have received an acceptance letter from Dromana College are eligible to apply for one of the Scholarships listed below.

SCHOLARSHIPS PROCESS STEPS

  1. Apply for a Dromana College Scholarship by completing the expression of interest at the bottom of this page. 
  2. Refer to any further instruction received from Dromana College admissions after the application is submitted
  3. Dromana College will contact you by email to offer you an interview time. If your interview needs to be rescheduled please phone 5987 2805.
  4. Bring to the interview your current school report, teacher endorsement, and a portfolio of photos and details showing wider school and community involvement.
  5. All applicants will be notified of the outcome of their interview via email.

What is the Academic Excellence Scholarship?

The Academic Excellence Scholarship is aimed at supporting talented students with a strong record of academic performance in their chosen subject and who can demonstrate contributions to their school or the wider community.

Scholarships available in the areas of:

  • Science/STEM
  • Art and Design
  • Music
  • Humanities/Inquiry
  • Health and PE
  • Languages
  • Literacy and Numeracy

Recipients of the Academic Excellence Scholarship will have the choice of either a $300 Laptop Voucher, or $300 school credit towards extracurricular activities (including Enhancement programs and Instrumental Music).

What is the Curriculum Enhancement Scholarship?

The Curriculum Enhancement Scholarship is awarded to students who demonstrate outstanding academic performance, and contribute to the wider school and local community.

Recipients of this Scholarship are expected to achieve excellence in our four school values:

  • Respect
  • Responsibility
  • Personal Best
  • Integrity

These values may have been demonstrated through:

  • Sporting success
  • Community action (volunteering, activism, improvement)
  • Musical Achievement
  • Youth work
  • Involvement in Clubs or other outstanding endeavours.

Please attach a written summary that demonstrates how you perform and excel in your chosen area.
